Garbage. There's a massive difference between laying flat on your back like Douglas and rising like Walcott did. You don't leave the question mark in the air if the ref will let you continue if you truly didn't want to.

Christ, even a bewildered Foreman climbed off the canvas in '74 by the count of 10 against Ali..... Foreman could've carried onward into round 9, had Zack Clayton allowed it, but Foreman was gonna kiss some more canvas in round 9, so it doesn't really matter....... Peace...
