Thinking about Marciano the other day. How he was born in 1923 and that he would be around 85 if still alive today. Maybe he would have past on now but its not unreasonable to think he would still be someone you could talk to about fights or be on TV or what not up until about ten years ago.

I would have loved to have heard is take on fighters from 1970-? the way Max Schmeling talked about the Klitschkos or Sharkey seemed to be a fan of Mike Tyson.

Marciano could probably be chewed up and spit out regarding all of his wins... he is one dimensional power puncher... he only bobs and weaves... he only throws a lot of punches and lands a few.... he only beat old boxers... he only did this or that.... LOL

Well guess what, whatever it was, he did what he did! He nearly decapitated the old man Walcott. Why? Walcott happened to be the HW champ at the time. Lastarza may have beaten the Rock... Rocky grinned about him in a rematch. Ezzard lasted 15 and lost, got pasted in a rematch when Rocky fealt threatened.

I'm not about to say Rocky crushed Walcott in the rematch, but any idiot could see how it was going to go. Rocky half killed the guy the first time.... did he want a round two? I doubt it!

I am a fan of Mike Tyson but I have to say it is a good thing he did not have to face that version of J.J.W. look at Evander/Tyson 1 and picture Walcott in there

I tend to appreciate Tyson at his best, it doesn't go much past that.

Comparing Evander with Walcott is like comparing a puffed up potato with an Air Force ThundeBird.

Holyfield/Tyson are both very POOR copies of Walcott, regardless of anything both ever did, which wasn't much!

Seeing a Tyson stick his face into a Marciano Suzie would be the greatest revelation in boxing history. It'd be like... "I want to quit," but I never do, even if you chew of an ear

Seeing an Iron against THE Rock would really prove a fact to Cocks and others!
