    Rico indeed had great momentum, but you must also take into account the fact that:
    - Rico had some 20 extra kg over Usyk, and most of that weight is muscle;
    - Rico had a reach advantage;
    - Usyk came in heavier than normal and he did not train 100 %.
    So the Marciano example is not very valid. Marciano is short and cannot impose his size against Usyk like Rico did.

    But that's a cherry pick narrative for you to discredit Marciano.

    Of course Super Heavyweights today would have major advantages ? They on average have 50-60 pounds weight advantages not to mention being full of PEDs.

    It's not a fair comparison it's as simple as that and having 50-60 pound weight advantage don't make you a better fighter.

    A fair comparison is vs the modern day Cruiserweights.

    I agree with the latter part, but Foreman certainly doesn't fit that description. He's too slow and has stamina issues.

    I'm just laughing picturing Usyk struggling with the competition that Jeffires, Hart, Burns and Johnson faced. And that's only 00's and 10's.

    I doubt that Marciano would crush even CW Usyk, if they fought on principle:
    32 year old Marciano Vs. 32 years old Usyk
    35 year old Marciano Vs. 35 years old Usyk
    39 year old Marciano Vs. 39 years old Usyk

    Marciano would give him a tough fight. Take the mental strength into the equation, please, for once.

    Yes, this is a HEAD TO HEAD thread with Usyk. We need to take into account the actual fighters discussed as they actually entered the ring.

    And if you want to go beyond weight as a factor, we can always discuss speed, length, balance, skill, tendency to cut, tendency not to get knocked down by old men....

    It would be a Cruiserweight version of Usyk against Marciano if we're creating an unbiased realistic match up between the two.

    Like I said before Usyk did not really have trouble with big fighters, but he did have trouble with fighters who set the pace and put on pressure.

    The men that beat Usyk in the amateurs were not the big men but pressure guys like the 5"7 Shawn Porter, Mohamed Hikal who was 5"9 and beat Usyk 2X

    Pace fighter like the 5"11 Clemente Russo and pressure fighters like 5"11 Artur Beterbiev (who dropped him) and Matvey Korobov 5"11 among others.

    I find it speculative fantasy to move men from an era, but Usyk would have his hands full with the ATGs, and Marciano's pressure, power and pace would certainly be an obstacle

    Usyk has a chance against anyone including Joe Louis, Marciano and Ali as well as Lennox and the rest but none of the ATG's should be discounted.
