Well. Fantasy bouts you are imagining both men at their best. If ones best is a roided up best you have then a distorted viewpoint.

I think drugs have always been part of the game.
Before they had steroids, they had stimulants and painkillers. They had cocaine and brandy, strychnine, caffeine, with a hint of heroin or opium !

Most of our 'sporting heroes' took/take PEDs.
It's part of the game. Everyone looking for an edge, a boost.

Jim Jeffries asked to have cocaine injected into his hand during one fight, but that was permitted under the rules of the day.

And being ultra fair to modern fighters the stuff they plugged marcianos nose with in the Charles fight had to be illegal too. Illegality has always gone on. The art has been getting away with it.

Because "steroids" are just that, all the same, and all you have to do is take the juice and do a few bar dips and youre 20 pounds heavier?

Do you even go to a gym?

None of those ancient activities were based on science. Steroid use ranks at a different level than blood coagulants or giving a fighter a shot of hard liquor. Steroid use is specific in artificially producing accelerated athletic performance. Without them and the fighters who took them are probably much poorer athletes.

So you are indicting athletes who have never tested positive, putting up an artificial and farcical time line on when "steroids" were suddenly omnipresent in the sport and showing your true understanding of PED's by stating that athletes who take them are "probably much poorer"?

Bravo. That's a lot of idiocy to fit into once stance.

Silly. It's no secret that steroid use blossomed from the 80's in football and baseball. Would it surprise you it was also being used in boxing? I have a secret to tell you... They were.

They were used in football long before that.

Blossomed from the 80's into a science used by a significant % of players.

You are boring me now like all other worker ants. You are all mouth and no money. I could care less what garbage like you think living in your northern rabbit hutches. My swimming pool is bigger than your poxy house, but I digress.

Here is a clip of Tua weighing 245 for the Rahman fight.

https://youtu.be/sd5BgroNPdE?t=412

Your first attempt at showing Tua as fat when he made his debut at 201, was like you, a miserable failure. If anything he looked puny and under developed.

Now as stated we have seen pictures of Marciano looking like a fat Italian in a suit, and his no# fan Suzie assures us from no less a source than Marciano's brother, that he would have been 215.

I believe for Tua to look the same he would need to be at least 250.

You are more than welcome to come to Spain and try to knock me anywhere you wish, but do yourself a favour. Don't book a return flight.:rofl:rofl

In the meantime crawl away and do what your paymaster tells you like every other good servant, whilst myself and my " fat " ( I believe you called her ) wife spend our days on our boat in the Med, and I go out and play music at night, while filth like you work.

Enough of this toxic hate guys.

As for the issues at hand:

1) Yes, Marciano could have gained weight & muscle, He trained down & catavolozed muscle.

2) He likely could have carried 210 at that lean body fat: max, if he only cared about muscle mass.

3) And would have sacraficed work rate & flexibility & endurance, a net demerit. Not worth a little more powe & a slightly better chin/

3) Tyson & especially Tua were naturally more muscular with a larger bone structure.

4) Steroids did become more common in the 1980's.

5) They often dramatically help power, grappling ability, add energy...

6) Especially in the HWs where your weight & muscle has no limitations.

7) They are VERY DIFFERENT in how much advantage they offer, & how they potentially tranform natural capacities & the body-compaiired to other drugs which ofen help deal with inhuries, exhausion, etc.

8) And much of what is discussed was LEGAL.

Like I said i probably earn more money in a week than you do a month and that is a fact, we can all live in a dream world with a big car and a swimming pool when in reality you probably live in a dirty flat in London along with the other flea infested rats..

I'd be more than happy to come teach you some respect if ever venture to simple Spain, I'll show your wife what a real man is whilst I'm there too..

Tua looked very loose on his pro debut and was nowhere near the condition Marciano got himself into, am I right or am I right you Southern **** Fairy??
