Marciano's overlooked defensive techniques (video)

Great video, I've said for years that Marciano had decent defence, just most of his slips were only by about an inch.

 

Yeah, Rocky did a lot of subtle things.

Excellent Work, I am very impressed, like a lot of the great fighters Marciano fought have said he looked easy to hit but was not so in the ring with him, also he countered well and made great use of his size(used shortness to his advantage) and even though he took a great punch was not easy to open up against without taking a bullet. Greatt peice of work Chris

Thats amazing, Though it might be better to get the clean versions of the fights. All that mess on the screen relly gets a differnt view lol.

 

I guess you dont get to 49-0 without a little bit of defense.

The Ali-Marciano sparring for the computer fight produce some comments by both sides that were interesting.

Of course, Marciano on Ali's speed.

But, Ali said Marciano was harder to hit than he thought,
and the Rock had very 'heavy hands" no matter where he
hit Ali.

 

Fantastic, great music too. His waist movement is really incredible, look how close to the ground his head gets, serious moving target. Contiuous unpredictable movement. All boxing fans need to see this. Should repost on the general forum too
