Marciano's style...

    Are there any fighters who have copied/emulated/imatated Marciano's style? I remember reading something about Qawi having similarities in his technique but also heard this debunked.

    Not many. Certainly not at heavyweight. I guess you could say there were some similarities with Frazier but Joe was almost entirely left hand dominant. But there were similarity when it came to conditioning and throwing lots of volume.

    Modern fighters train differently and use slightly different techniques. For example, Marciano would throw a right hand and completely take his head towards the left off the center line.

    Frank (trainer in the video above) is correct. Many modern fighters throw the right hand almost like a jab. While guys like Marciano would throw it and move their head completely leftwards, increasing its power.

    Given modern heavies are usually 230 lbs plus, its pretty much impossible for them to emulate Marciano.

    You would have to be an utter psychopath by even boxing's standards.
