WHo do you guys like here? The slightly faded but still excellent Barrera or the bigger harder punching Corrales? Would Barrera still have enough left here to outbox and school the defensively flawed Corrales.. Or does the bigger Corrales force a firefight and outslug Barrera or possibly even score a Ko? My guess is that Corrales has some big rounds, probably hurting Barrera(maybe dropping him) a couple times and giving him a scare.. But Barrera still had a great chin even at JL and i think he shakes it off and goes on to outbox Corrales after the halfway point, and even scores a knockdown of his own late to pull it out. 114-112 Barrera.

Barrera's physical attributes were on the slide at 130 whereas Chico's were at its peak.
Barrera is still a smart fighter and decent ring generalship is all it takes to really expose Chico's flaws. Casamayor, Freitas, and Mayweather exploited this Barrera would of done the same from round 1 onward and he knows it would be foolish to engage with Chico at any moment so you can count any exciting exchanges out. Chico could probably catch Mab off guard if Mab gets cocky and get a KD but MAB will still get up from it and have plenty left in the tank to cruise to a lopsided decision.

116-111 type of fight for Mab.

Coralles TKO him. Barrera would have folded under the relentless pressure. Coralles was way to tall for him.

Barrera TKO's Diego in the late rounds..

Diego too open and absorbs too much punishment just to give a few

Barrera won't fall into that trap

Barrera too accurate in his punches and will make diego pay..

Barrera wide UD or late TKO. Far too classy and complete for Chico, would hit him with so many combos Diego would look like the Elephant Man by about round 8.

I really dont know, p4p Barrera is a level above but the size MIGHT have been too much, I really cant call this tbh, anything could happen.

MAB by decision. IMO he uses the jab and stays out of range. Though Corrales is taller, their reach was about the same...Corrales had T-rex arms.

We just saw a shot Morales at 140 taking shots from Maidana, at 130 where both are at equal size and Chico was in fact drained, I dont think Corrales just knocks barrera out as some think.

Morales & Barrera have different qualities tho, I always felt Morales had the stronger will, could take punishment better & was better at fighting back when things were not going his way.

Corrales wasn't exactly the definition of a tall fighter. With Barrera's jab and body attack Corrales' insistence on not using his height would urn his height into a disadvantage in my opinion faced with those Barrera weapons of assault.

Corrales's superhuman strength for the weight and sick power could cause the past it Barrera quite a few problems now and again but Barrera by this stage would be too wily and may pull out a very late stoppage but more than likely a decision.

Maybe against certain opponents but not against eachother... I felt Barrera chin was just as solid(if not alittle more) than Morales, power about equal.. THe only fight i felt that Morales won was when he boxed...Going toe toe i always gave the slight edge to Barrera.

I'm a massive Barrera fan BUT this is a bridge too far for him. No way can he engage with Corrales fire power, I think he's going to figure that out early and look to box on the backfoot. He may well outbox Corrales early doing this with his speed and skill but Corrales has a longer jab and will stalk and look for the exchange, when it happens Barrera just won't be able to take the power and Corrales won't be too bothered by eating a few of MABs punches. MAB was a podgy 130lber who weighed 130lbs in the ring, Corrales was a ripped monster who weighed 146lbs in the ring.

I think Corrales beat Morales too because Morales would exchange with Chico, which would play right into his hands

I think Barreras chin is a little underrated.. Not that Corrales doesnt have the power to hurt him, but Corrales didnt exactly have the greatest chin either.. Although COrrales is physically much stronger, i think Barrera can hurt him too.. Believe it or not Barrera is a better fighter on the outside than the much taller COrrales.

Why would this play right into his hands? :huh

Morales has a better chin than Chico, better punch variety, and would beat him at his own game.
