They rank him last because they love EM and Pac, and they somehow think it builds up their boy to tear down MAB.

 

Oh, no doubt that there were probably stipulations on that contract, but he was offered ERIC MORALES for $1.5 MILLION. This isn't just a fight, it is a career defining fight, and who wasn't mad at JMM, when he turned down a 750K fight with Pac and turns down a $1.5 mil fight with EM. What more does he want? It wasn't like he was in a position to demand anything and even with his success, he's still on the tail end of negotiations. So how did EM duck JMM, when there is an offer of 1.5 mil for a fight?

 

what i meant when i thought barrera was better cas when u look at there years through there 20's to 30 barrera definitly has the edge with marquez not winnin his first world title until he was 30 and by then barrera already had a hall of fame career

 

Yes, you have to look at all the years Barrera fought overall, compared with Marquez. Marquez is good, but Barrera accomplished a lot more.

Marquez had called out for a MAB and Morales fight way before he fought Pacquiao, but was never given that opportunity.......

Marquez was offered 100K payhike for a rematch with Pacquiao, he regected that offer saying that both he and Pac deserved more that just 100K more after the exciting fight both had put up in their first fight......
Marquez rejected 750K knowing that the fight would bring more financially than that, and the only persons who were going to benefit from the hard work and blood and guts fight he and Pac had provided, were the promoters........he regected Arum.


Again, if Arum indeed offered JMM 1.5 mil to fight Morales, you yourself have acknowleadged it more than likely was loaded with stipulations for future rights to JMM's fights, which Marquez wanted to be no part of.......

Why the hell would Marquez tie himself up to Arum again, when the guy had failed him in every way beforehand.

You think JMM was going to be stupid enough to tie himself up to Arum again, when he knew Arum was'nt operating in his best interest?????

Despite the fact that Marquez won their match up I think Barrera is a head of him. Of course if Marquez beats Mayweather and the Pacquiao/Cotto winer he will not only move a head of Barerra but all the other boxers from Mexico including Sanchez and Chavez.

 

in atg rankings mab is ahead of jmm. but jmm is still active, so he has a chance of surpassing mab
