i was thinkin in work what if questions....stcik with me lol freddie roach said that morales will be a good fight for kahn *cas there lookin for easy ways to make him a big name of course* if he won the title so if morales fights him for the title and wins which is very possible with morales's power and desire to win and kahns obvious lack of a chin wat if he wins that 4th title in a 4th dif weight division also wat if barrera can win a few fights without getting cut also befor ethe kahn fight he couldnt spar much because of the cut in the rojas fight so what if with the cut and slowness it was just an off night and makes an impression next...it may be because hes my fave fighter but id like it lol

Currently Barrera ranks above Marquez in the all-time great rakings, but it wouldn't surprise me if when it was all said and done if he were to leap over Barrera, Morales, and Pacquiao. Honestly, I think he might be a better fighter than all those three. The unfortunate thing is that age might prohibit him from proving it and accomplishing all he needs to accomplish in order to rank above those guys.

LOL, obviously not since you stated that JMM was being avoided, but I'm showing you that there was an offer for $1.5 MIL offer to fight Eric Morales ON PPV.

How much did HBO have on the table for the fight and how much was JMM asking for?

You get 2 offers to fight 2 of the hottest names in boxing and turn them down, so how did Arum fail JMM.

Still too early to say. Let JMM run his course, then we'll re-convene on this one. Regardless of the outcome, it will be close.

do you reckon that the diaz fight might off took alot out of marquez and he might have something missing against mayweather? because marquez had to fight at a real fast pace and took alot of punishment i hope he isnt but it wouldnt surprise me when he fights mayweather

As long as Pacquiao keeps winning, a third fight between them will never happen unless Pacquiao loses to somebody else and at the time the consensus rates JMM above him.

This is the only scenario where Pac is forced to push for a JMM fight.

A nice way to parralel what Arum was doing is like the athlete in any of the sports.....baseball, basketball, football.......

......the player has been a dissapointmet throughout his whole current contract, not playing to expectations......but all of a sudden on the last year of his contract, gearing himself for free agency and to negotiate a new contract....all of a sudden he's having a career year tearing up a storm........

......thats basically Bob Arum working for JMM. He did nothing for him in the several fights he worked for him under contract......but on the last opportunity under contract when Arum only has one fight left in that contract......Arum makes a sizeable offer for JMM to fight Morales, but of course in it JMM has to commit himself to remain with Arum for a good many other fights.

......basically for JMM to turn down 1.5 mil, if indeed that was the case........Marquez just did'nt want to commit himself to a promoter who never truly worked with him and treated him like a human being and not like a piece of meat.

Thats the one thing that I've heard Nacho say of GBP, and that Arum never gave them that courtesy.......

"GBP has been very open with us in every negotiation in what then can and cannot promise, and what could lie in the future with the different moves......we truly are happy and appreciate the good people at GBP!"

It seems to me that Richard Shaefer who's the head of GBP knows how to deal with the fighters and their camps, and values their input.

......where's I've heard that unless you're a proven cash cow, Arum treats his fighters like dog ****......."listen, sign on the dotted line, I'm doing you a ****ing favor by even putting you on my card. Take it or leave it or I"ll toss you aside and give the fight to someone who wants it.

Arum is no better and maybe even worse than a Don King.
Arum is a liar and a proven cheat!

Its always possible, but I would highly doubt it.......against Diaz, Marquez actually was getting stronger while Diaz was weakening.

JMM's stamina is second to none in boxing today.
We only need to ask that loudmouth Freddie Roach on the matter!:D

roach and pacquiao want nothin to do with it unfortunatly i really thought marquez beat pacquiao both times but then again i thought barrera beat marquez the judges that night were shocking i could only see one of them winnin by a point or the fair decision a draw because it was a brilliant fight and too close to call definitly not 117-111 lol
