The information is in Spanish. But he says Margarito suspension should be global. Not only in California. He also said Margarito embarrassed the Mexican people.

ESPNdeportes.com Hi friends, as always a pleasure to read this space
can know what happens in boxing and my career as a boxer ... As you
friends readers know, we were following up the case of Antonio Margarito, then
the announcement that the Mexican boxer tried to wear a dressing for forbidden
Sugar Shane Mosley to fight. Unfortunately after the studies are
conducted by the Department of Justice of the State of California, the bandage
    was cast.
The dressing was Margarito yesoRecordemos that the bandages were removed from the
Margarito hands minutes before the start of combat, after the coach
Mosley, Nazim Richardson, complained about the way they were.
In February, Antonio Margarito and his trainer Javier Capetillo were
punishable by one year without first analyzing the material of the bandage. After this
event, I mentioned that Antonio was the least culpable as the boxer, but
should not be excluded that at some point he knew about this. The punishment for my
companion, and I say this with all the pain of the world, must be global, not
only in the state of California. Margarito should be aware of the evil that
Mexican made boxing and this will be his worst punishment. For his part, Javier Capetillo, no
should form part of any other fighter. Committed the act that should never again
occur and the Mexican boxers have to completely clear to this trainer
world of boxing. Now it says that in Mexico there will be no support for Margarito
continue fighting force and unsuccessful. I think the boxing commissions to agree
to abide by the punishment they have in California, because here are not as stringent and could
happen if a serious accident repeating his bad action. Any further questions, remember
we are in the chat every Friday at the City 16 hours ... A big salute to all!

Una mancha para mexico = A stain for mexico

stain taken in a very negative way. Many mexican greats are now speaking out their minds about what a shameful thing margarito did.

its sad to see that on this site the number of disagreements over how guilty or not margarito is.

i feel that in this time where general support for this sport that we all claim to be fans of we need to display to the outside world our character of the sport in keeping the rules and showing to those that feel this is simply violence that they are wrong

sadly we are split and selfish with people clinging to individual strands of evidence or opinion in the hope of advancing what they believe

we have to unite together to show the world boxing isnt the stereotype they make it out to be

margarito loaded his gloves in the hope of gaining an unfair advantage over his opponent risking them serious injury. he should be banned for life everywhere in the world for the good of the sport

No he's a disgrace to the sport. Iv never seen Cotto mark up like that. Now i know why. Il praise to Nazim. Putting plaster of paris on hand wraps is no joke and extremely dangerous to he's opponent. He should be banned for life. Margarito has lost ALL credibility and every one of he's wins are tainted including he's entire career. Fighters should boycott him and refuse to fight him.

$50.00 goes a long ways in Mexico, how much further do you think $500.00 or $5k will go?

Sounds like he is convinced Margie is a sorry ass cheater.
