Exactly. Old pros being asked what they think about fights has been a part of this sport for years. They are often wrong, yet they are always still asked to give predictions.

I hate this arguement by Pac fans because you could easily make the same arguement if he picked Pac over Marquez- that Barerra is just bitter over his close decision loss to JMM.

So in the end, he is ****ed either way. And I doubt he went out of his way to make the prediction... figures like him are constantly asked.

I think there is a rematch clause in case JMM wins. Arum made sure that it is stated. So we will see Pac-JMM III in case JMM wins. If Pac wins, I'm not sure if there is still a rematch clause. I think JMM's promoter didn't demand it or can't demand it.

 

Marquez will smoke Pacquiao, providing his chin doesn't let him down. It's Marquez all the way.

I dont think Marco will ever pick Pac to win against any Mexican. Thats just National Pride.

 

MAB has always said that he roots for his countrymen. Even in his hate relationship with Morales, in actuality MAB never picked Morales to win, but said that he would root for the Mexican.

His pick of JMM is actually the first time that I know that MAB is saying that he actually believes a Mexican will win regardless of him rooting for him or not.......

.....however, I do take anything MAB says with a grain of salt. He's a schemer and a backstabber, and I"m actually a little suprised that MAB would speak up and say that with his knowleadge of the game he's picking JMM.
MAB has never had anything complimentary to say of JMM, and was a crybaby little whiner when JMM decisioned him.

Even as MAB was outboxed by Pac in their rematch, he was asked afterward by the HBO squad who he thought was out there with a real chance to beat Pac.....he only answered Valero.
I was thinking that he was still sourgraping about his loss to JMM and did'nt want to give him any credit.

To be honest, I think there is or at least was some kind of Jealousy in that JMM performed admirably against Pac, and he just could'nt.

Who really knows what goes through a mind of a spoiled brat llike MAB.
It may be that he has actually come to his senses and realized that JMM is the man to get the job done vs Pac!:hey :bbb

 

I dont believe he's ever picked against him BB.....that I know of, MAB has verbally come out in support of his countrymen, but not come out and actually say that he thought that any of them would beat Pac.

 

actually he said Morales would beat pac the second time..that morales is superior to Pac and that he (MAB) lost because he was so distracted in the first fight...just cant find where he said it. MAB is good, dont get me wrong but his pride just eats him too much. JMM is more credible since he did give Pac the most challenging fight he could get, and to say he can beat him is no surprise. This coming from MAB is just riding the bandwagon.
