How do you see a fantasy matchup playing out at featherweight against Marco Antonio Barrera and The explosive thin man?

My thoughts are that both fighters would be looking for counters. Barrera is weary of Alexis right hand whilst Arguello has always preffered to sit back and look for openings when the opponent fires off shots.

Tuff fight for Barrera IMO, I think of Junior Jones.
Not sure tho considering Styles make Fight's.

If I had to make a choice I'd prob say
    Alexis Arguello by Late stoppage.

    I agree.

Marco Antonio Barrera is my all time favourite fighter, but he is giving up height and reach against Alexis, who was a big featherweight.

Arguello has had difficulty with boxers, but Barrera would be open to the right hand when he is getting off his shots. Arguably one of the hardest hitting featherweights in history, Barrera would do well to take Alexis' shots. I see him being stopped by TKO in the 11th round.

if barrera is in counter punching body pucher mode like he was agianst nas ..he'll give arguello fits.. he isnt gonna stand in front of him and let arguello tee off with the big right...

if the peak barrera that fought nas gets in there...it'll be a late night for arguello

but if barrera tries to brawl with arguello it's curtains for mab
