50 bucks says if Barrera wins belts in 4 divisions, Morales will unretire and try to win in 5.

as long as he keeps away from the elites/class A fighters at 135, i think he can still win.

Sorry my friend ... but it takes two to the tango. Where was Juarez
during that fight, if he couldn't engage Barrera at his own terms it
means he is not as special as you think and Barrera was right.

Ah, Don King at his recycling best..:good

MAB will get his 4th belt (Kobori is nothing special) and he can then flaunt to the world as the best fighter to come out of good ole Mexico.

    Yikes. :barf

Morales is gonna have to win a 4th before he even thinks about a 5th, I thought he beat Diaz but the judges did not. Hard to believe Erik hasnt won a fight since beating Pac in march 05, his legs are gone but his hands are still decent, he just has to keep that weight down & stop living badly in between fights.

Ps. Morales says he is not retired, he just needs a big rest & plans to take ALL OF 2008 off then box a 10 rd fight in the LWT division & if all goes well then go for the WBC LWT title no mater who has it.
    He wants that 4th title.

Obviously Barrera knows of these plans & is getting in there before him to become the 1st Mexican to win in 4 weights, I think watching Morales vs Diaz gave MAB confidence that he too could beat a LWT.

Of course, I hope he is wrong. :D

As a paying fan, I felt robbed...but I'm cool, I just get to voice my opinion as a consequence. I'm sure people who didn't even buy the fight are the only ones who have a problem with my comments....he did not even attempt to deliver...on the grounds that Juarez "didn't deserve it."

I actually prefer when MMA fighters work on the ground because most of them have **** boxing skills.

You are flaming, and I'm sure you weren't even a big MAB fan and didn't spend your money on the fight...you don't sound knowledgeable about MAB, boxing, or MMA...your personal attacks are as interesting as your boxing views...oh wait, you didn't contribute any.

    Juarez was the ineffective aggressor...

...the great MAB decided to ride a bicycle that night, and it sucked. He got the W though.

This isn't a PBF thread :deal

Why would you go into a non-Floyd thread and try to start Floyd discussions...???

I've been a MAB fan since he fought at the Forum, I'm a blue belt close to Purple in BJJ, and if Rocky Juarez can't force a brawl with MAB - the only way he could possibly win - then he doesn't deserve to win. It's not the boxers responsibility to fight down to the brawler's level, it's the brawlers responsibility to force the boxer to brawl. If he can't, tough ****. He loses the BOXING match.

Go take boxing 101 son. Your ignorance is showing.
