Agreed. I also cannot get past Jones rehydrating to 139 pounds. Barrera was not a large super bantam or feather.

Barrera had a very short prime. Probably sometime around 2000-2004ish. Was probably operating at 100% in the first two Morales fights and Hamed fight. Around 95% by the Pacquiao fight and maybe 90% by the third Morales fight.

It's important to remember just how savagely intense the first and third Morales fight was. As well as the Pacquiao fight. 3 brutal wars in a 4 year span will wreck a fighter.

Barrera and Morales are both overrated...they didn't do anything, but fight each other.

    What about them ?
Mab exposed one and morales exposed the other.
2 mexican greats passed their prime beat them down.

Really morales took mabs career really, he had that triology which is all he really should be remembered for, really losing fights 2 and especially 3. 1 could've gone either way but we'll claim mab competed closely enough for the w.

Idk why mab out classing a non trained hamed was some big deal. He was already done in by $$$ was winning strictly on power for years, writing was on the wall, font 5900000000 in BOLD text

Not the most skilled of his era but he was underrated in terms of his boxing ability.

    The guy was a beast.

He wasn't green, but I do think he hadn't reached his potential at that time. I would say his legitimate prime was the first Morales fight, which I felt he won.

Sick of the hamed fight excuses. If the **** didnt train then why was barrera a living legend coming un 3to1 underdog after putting incredible performances leading up to the fight with jesus salud and sanchez.

Bookies dnt have bias or else they would be flat broke

Mab wS underdog for two main reasons, hameds power and the fact that he was moving up to featherweight.

MAB was probably roided to the max against Hamed.
