Is it just me or is Periban being dangerously under rated here?
Sure he's had a few losses and a few bad results but he has decent pop....is huge at the weight with a great reach.....got big heart....and seems to have good counter punching skills and footwork.
I feel if Degale is not on top form he could well be overwhelmed by the Mexican?

True, but Degale comes alive on the big stage.

For me it's the pick of the undercard, but hopefully Chunky can do the business!

He has been underrated for sure, but if Degale performs well he should get the job done.

Yeah chunky is a nightmare for anyone at super middle, I reckon he beats groves in a rematch

Anyone? He's hardly got the CV to back that statement up. I think he will win come Sat though.

He's very awkward and unorthodox, throws punches from weird angles and can be a handful once he starts to get in a groove.

Groves did well because he boxed to a game plan and chunky was a bit thrown off by this, he's improved a lot since then.

I reckon he beats the likes of abraham and Stieglitz and will even give froch plenty to think about

Yep,I think he wins on points. But although he lost by a whisker to Groves, I think he's fought and beat the better opposition since. No comparison between Periban and the guy Groves will demolish. For me,James is the one who has earned a shot, and will be better prepared if and when he gets one. And I was pleased when Groves won their fight.

Degale is 80% a sure pick here if he gets beat it's because we have hugely overrated him

Do we know if this will be the fight before the main event yet? Rumours Groves fight may be there instead. Chunky will be fuming if that happens.

Periban is solid but pretty average. I remember seeing him struggle with that Sierra who Groves blew away a while back. If you're going places, you deal with Periban.
