Round 1

Rubio jabs, one high and one at chest level. Vanda backs up, gloves spread apart wide. Vanda tries a body jab. Rubio comes forward and Vanda slips a jab between his gloves. Rubio smirks. Right hand by Rubio as Vanda is circling to the right. High 1-2 by Vanda misses as Rubio just turns his shoulders to let it pass by. 1-2 by Rubio. Hooks to the body by Vanda. Rubio puts up a guard as Vanda throws more hooks to the body. Rubio's corner is yelling for the "yab yab yab" but he isn't yabbing much. Vanda backs up, blocking a jab. High right hand by Vanda, claps against Rubio's guard. They jab together, deflecting each other. Hooks up top by Vanda, blocked. Jab to the body by Rubio. Jab to the face by Rubio, backing Vanda up. Hook, 2, 1, 2 by Rubio. Nice combo. Vanda is sent scrambling.

He got some good body shots in, but nobody really beat anybody's ass that round.

 

Round 2

Vanda is dodging jabs with swerves of his head and firing hard right hands to the body while moving. Good start by Vanda. Now Rubio settles into a rhythm coming forward and starts to throw the 1-2. Jabs by Rubio. Jabs land simultaneously. 1-2 lands to the face of Vanda. Body shots by Vanda. Rubio lands a jab and then a long crooked right hand to the jaw. Rubio is snapping the jab out into Vanda's face. Right to the body by Rubio. Right to the face by Rubio. Vanda is giving lots of ground, wilting a bit. Rubio looks much stronger physically and is marching forward as fast as Vanda can back up. Body shot by Rubio makes Vanda drop his hands. Vanda tries to trade with him while backing up, throwing a soft 1-2 into the guard of Rubio. Left jab by Rubio splits Vanda's gloves apart. Left hook to the face by Rubio. Quick flurry by Vanda up close before Rubio backs him up, snapping his head back with jabs. GOOD right hand by Vanda. Rubio jabs up at the top of his head. Vanda reaches down and lands a solid left hook to the body.
