    * For the WBC Latino middleweight title: Rubio was 1.5 lbs. over weight and has elected not to lose the weight, forfeiting rights to title and $1,500 to Vanda.

    Nope, the announcer made a mistake, the promoters negotiated a new weight limit in the morning before the weight in, so the title is still in the line. (I have the source but it is in spanish)

    Really, the title shouldn't even be on the line as neither should be eligible for it.

    Rubio, because overweight is overweight - regardless of whether you negotiate forgiveness from the opposing camp and get the contract stipulated.

    Vanda, because...well, he isn't Latino. :yep

    Channel doesn't load. Is it supposed to be free?

    Tried to watch the Lemieux fight on this site and didn't load that night either. Can get almost every channel on this thing except the first one with the boxing.

    *I know the fights haven't started yet but something is supposed to be playing on the channel right now.

    Guys, nothing is supposed to be on until 10pm EST. That is 98 minutes away.

    They were looping some random WBC promo stuff earlier, but now it looks to just be dead air/a blank black screen.

    That's their supremely overconfident way of putting the now-old news that they intend to make Chavez face Martinez or vacate.

    What they're not taking into account there is that their chick may decide to vacate rather than hatch. :yep

    Not holding my breath, as I said earlier I got nothing but a blank screen for the Lemieux card the other night when it was advertised.

    Time will tell.
