You asked a question and I answered. I'm likely the leading Vanda historian on this forum as he doesn't seem to get a lot of support around here. You should be thanking me for my contributions.

    Round 3

Deliberate butt by Leatherwood while grinding Jackson into a corner. Byrd cautions them, and the corners cajole him to be sterner. HARD attack by Leatherwood, left hooks and whip-crack right hands. He falls atop Jackson against the ropes again. Byrd steps between and warns Leatherwood about leading with his elbows and head. They hold and hit, sloppy. Leatherwood jabs, picked off. Jackson starts to take short steps to his left and land his own jab. Uppercut by Jackson. Clinch, and Leatherwood tackles Jackson into the ropes. Now Leatherwood shoves his arm into Jackson's face. Byrd takes a point away, rightfully so. Leatherwood jabs, then flinches from a feinted overhand right by Jackson. Clinch. Leatherwood lands a left hook and right hand and Jackson lands a left as they become entangled. Leatherwood winds up hung up over the top rope with Jackson's arm trapped. Byrd tells them to let each other go civilly. Leatherwood down, slip after an entanglement. They trade jabs as Jackson backs Leatherwood up. Right to the body by Jackson, and an uppercut while Leatherwood is trying to tie up.

    10-8 Jackson

    30-26 Jackson

    Round 4

Jackson tries to back out into range and jab, while Leatherwood darts in with right hands and gets dodged. Leatherwood keeps going down off their collisions, but not being ruled down from punches. Lots of messiness. Leatherwood is whipped across the throat by Jackson's arm, wrapping all the way around. Leatherwood keeps dropping to the ground and now it seems some of Jackson's heavy shots are hurting him, but it's debatable whether any of these should be called a knockdown. Jackson is definitely having his most offensively destructive round though, in between all the sloppiness.

    40-35 Jackson

    Round 5

Leatherwood is barking while chopping away with his right and lunging with his jab to the body - and missing. Jackson is waiting to catch him and squeeze him between his long folded arms. Uppercuts inside by Jackson. Nice rat-a-tat flurry by Jackson. Stiff jab by Jackson as Leatherwood tries to chop in with a 1-2. BIG right hand over the top by Jackson. Leatherwood leans into him and spits his mouthpiece out. Jackson's corner snitches on him, telling Byrd "HE SPIT IT OUT!! HE SPIT IT OUT!". Byrd threatens to take a point next time, after it is replaced. Right hand by Leatherwood. Clinch by Leatherwood. Jackson is pushed back into a corner. Leatherwood is grinding into him, and barking as he chops away over the top. Jackson shrinks back to the ropes and lets Leatherwood miss shots, then spins him and drops a right hand on his face.

    50-44 Jackson

    Round 6

Leatherwood barks and throws body shots. Now Jackson is wrestled back to the ropes and hit with high right hands. Leatherwood is spun and popped with a jab. 1-2 by Jackson. Right to the body by Jackson. Leatherwood spins him back to the ropes and clamps his arms around his waist. Leatherwood barks and throws a high hook. Left hook, right uppercut by Jackson - landing very flush. BIG RIGHT HAND BY JACKSON!! TKO!

    Byrd stopped Leatherwood while standing.

Yeoman service, as per usual IB!

Especially impressive, given the confusion involving start time. :good
