Going by this banner, they'll be including the six-rounder between Serrano and Nunez on the broadcast. We can assume it's the opener, and then on to Fortuna vs. Roman and then the main event.

Female boxing almost always goes the distance. However, it's shorter rounds. So 6x2 is twelve minutes of "action" (plus the minute-long breaks between rounds, and then a few minutes afterward to collect scores and announce the decision...) - so we're talking about a good twenty minute chunk out of the opening of the broadcast. So Fortuna and Roman probably in the ring about 10:30pm EST.

    :think

I was thinking about staying at work (my overtime shift actually ends at 10pm) and doing the RBR here after signing out. This opens up the possibility of me making it home in time for the men's boxing. It takes me about 30 minutes.

    Hmm...

I don't think it would be a problem. You'd be home minutes away from action if it takes 30mins.. But then again would if there is an odd KO in the female bout.

BTW IB props for your dedication to the sport ( watching and covering it with RBR ). I mean damn Rubio is a decent contender fighting a journeyman in a stay busy fight that almost 100% he will win. and Fortuna is a hopeful prospect fighting a decent test in Roman. And your worried about possibly missing the first round or so. Props to you man. :thumbsup

I got to watch Rubio vs. Pavlik from about 15 feet or so away from the ring. I paid way more than I could afford for those 2 seats btw, but I sat right behind Roy Jones Jr the whole time, and that **** was sweet I reckon.

    Kick some ass Rubio. :yep
