Round 2

Rogers is still being very conservative with his output, but effective landing with the right hand when he lets it go and constantly putting Freeman into a full retreat or a grabbing dive with the free-flowing snap jab. Rogers is getting some good jabs to the body. All Freeman's offense is some bent-knee reaches to the body, none really getting a solid piece.

20-18 Rogers

 

Round 3

They exchange jabs and circle at a lazy pace in the center of the ring. Suddenly Freeman hurts Rogers with a right cross!! Rogers backs up, seeming shaky and Freeman runs after him. Rogers defends with some footwork and blocking, though. Not as hurt as it seemed, maybe playing possum. Now Rogers walks Freeman down with his jab and hurts him with a right hand. Stiff jabs by Rogers, snapping Freeman's head back. Rogers throws a mean straight right lead to the body ducking forward and Freeman pops a jab in his face coming in. Freeman's legs buckled by a right! Rogers crouches and comes up with a left hook - slow (not his best punch). He keeps building off it, though - bashing Freeman to the ropes with a straight combo. HARD right hand to the body by Rogers as Freeman backs up and whips out hooks. Freeman complains it was to the back. It was actually right on his side.

30-27 Rogers

 

Halfway through that seemed sure to be a Freeman round.

Interesting back and forth drama.

I think it will be all Rogers the rest of the way, though - however long it lasts.

 

Round 4

Good right hand by Rogers. Jabs to the body and forehead by Rogers, showing a great range of altitude as he snaps it out. Freeman is winging out his own jab but not taking great aim and throwing it while sliding his feet back to get away. Stiff jabs by Rogers on the front foot, caught on the gloves but keeping Freeman headed back. A few jabs get by his gloves and brush Freeman's forehead. HARD double jab to the face by Rogers. Freeman is mad. He comes forward and rolls his fists around each other in a sloppy axle-turning combo, dodged as Rogers skirts back to the ropes. Jabs by Rogers.

40-36 Rogers

 

You mean the angles they're showing, or the color tinting & video quality?

:yep Agreed in either case.

 

Round 5

Rogers walks Freeman back with his jab but is doing a lot of darting back and forth on the outside, giving Freeman lots of respect and room to operate. It's all Rogers' jab at this point, very few other punches being thrown at this point. They just stare each other down from several feet apart and keeping feinting motions toward each other or circling. Now some jabs from Freeman, falling short. Rogers' jabs mostly caught on gloves but some are scoring to the face. Freeman reaches with body shots but doesn't quite reach. One went low and clipped Rogers on the nuts, and Mora warned him.

50-45 Rogers

Round 6

Long 1-2 by Rogers. 1-1-2 by Rogers. Freeman drifts to the ropes, leans back against them and then reaches out to grab and hug Rogers when he falls in atop him. Freeman is having trouble getting off the ropes even after they're separated, just inching away from Rogers and painting himself back into another corner. Jabs from Rogers, exercising his longer reach to tag Freeman from too far out to counter. Freeman paws his own jab out anyway, hoping to make headway and keep off the ropes and possibly set up a right hand. No contact. They circle a bit, and Rogers starts creeping forward. Rogers jab, very short. They close in, and Rogers lands a heavy left hook to the head in an exchange.
