Who's active / who have they fought etc but the flaw is that a "win" is classified and ranked as a WIN. Regardless of whether the result was contentious etc.

Taken as part of a puzzle, along with informed opinion and your own eyes and ears they're useful.

As a standalone ranking system not so much.

Yeah, the K2 stand head and shoulders above the rest and I doubt that a loss or inactivity would drop them more than a spot and rightfully so. The whole idea of Huck moving up is fine, but getting an immediate eliminator......:thinksomething smells fishing....that is unless Potvetkin thinks he'll walk through him.

Here's hoping Huck's stay at HW is short and bittersweet.....a Potvetkin KO would be sweet soas Huck will not get his payday vs Wlad or Vitali w/o earning it.

Also......Denis Ledbedev is still wanting his rematch.....and DESERVES it.

 

I am sure Teddy Atlas is confident with Povetkin facing guys like Boswell or Huck. I mean they're leagues below Chambers and Byrd who Povetkin already beat like 4 years ago

Here's the deal. Huck has a German passport and there has been no German heavyweight champ since the 1930s (Schmeling). Huck is smelling an opportunity here to cement a legacy even though he'd only hold a fringe paper 'regular' title -- the dumb Germans wouldn't know the difference.

Sauerland is hosting and also smell big money here.
