I feel like you are on the slight-hater side of how you view Povetkin. I feel Huck has definitely gotten worse in the time span, flat rate and relative to Povetkin. I'm truly a big fan of both and scored Povetkin/Huck a draw. A lot of people scored it even and there were definitely folks who gave it to Povetkin. A slight majority had Huck by a point/round. People try to act like it was somehow some clear or decisive win for Huck and that just is far from the case. I do believe it would be a fun fight, and deserved to Huck for sure, and I'm actually for it if Povetkin manages to get hosed away from the top HW fights (any of Joshua/Parker/Wilder/Ortiz/Miller/Whyte). I'll take Povetkin/Huck II over any other not on that list. As for Huck, he's always been a fun fighter, def underappreciated and usually ever so slightly underrated by fans, too. I'm cool with him just doing his thing, having a cupcake or two and then a contender or cashout, whichever way he wants it.
The Povetkin fight was scored 115-113 either way or 114-114 by the majority of the fans in the RbR. I believe I had it 7-5 Huck actually, but could see it go either way. What people seem to glance over is that Povetkin didn't look in good condition that fight, and he probably took Huck too lightly like most of the fans beforehand. I'd like to see a rematch, though dont expect Huck would be silly to just go for that. Or Povetkin would take that fight if Huck wanted because he's on the verge of a big fight and cashout.
He is finished at CW, that much is clear. And him and his amateur promoter brother (forgot his name, but I recall a fat Arab idiot in a way-too-tight blazer) are probably broke already so they need another payday.
This won't end well. Huck is done. On the otherside he could still beat Chales Martin, Charr or Christian Hammer
Definitely would be. But Huck is past it and Charles is a decent boxer(relatively speaking). I would favor Charles.
