He told german tv, that he needed 6 months and then he'd be ready for Huck to ensure that Huck will not break Nelson's record. He added that people have forgot that Leonard was out for 5 years before fighting Hagler.

You're so wrong it isn't even funny. In terms of quality of prospects and the depth of them here's what CW has.

    Usyk - possibly P4P material

Makabu - Slight James Toney look to his style with big power and more aggression, very skilled and tough.

Mchunu - schooled, schooled Eddie Chambers who was a top HW contender and always regarded as very skilled

Drozd - Is looking very good as of late having added much more variety and polish to his game in recent years particularly with footwork, angles and feinting to set up his offense wouldn't be surprised if he beats Wlod who i regard more highly than alot of people i think. When he's in top form which has has been for his last several fights he's a very solid Champ.

Kudryashov - Some similarities to Pirog with his defense in terms of upperbody movement but not the footwork, looks to have freakish power really good stalking counter puncher with combinations, skilled puncher

Kucher - Very well round skills on offense and defense, can fight at any range, very good power and chin, lost to Makabu by 1 point in a boarderline war.

Glowacki - Polish southpaw, pretty skilled, good power has beaten common opponents better than Masternak and is the better Pole imo but we'll have to wait until he takes that final step up

Gassiev - Haven't seen too much but looked really good from what i have. Quick, skilled, well rounded sharp punching boxer/puncher with good power 18-0 and only 20 years old and top 15 ranked already.

Chakhkiev - Should know very dangerous but flawed, lacks variety to his offense

Masternak - Should know pretty skilled but defensively flawed

Dorticos - hard hitting Cuban with decent skills but i have watched him the least out of any and will refrain from saying anything definitive. His D looks a little open and may end up being like Chakhkiev and Masternak with good qualities but too flawed to be among the divisions elite.

Kalenga - Slightly more skilled and powerful version of Kayode but also probably to flawed to be elite although with his power always dangerous and with the right matchup could potentially beat a top guy here and there

Not that i would expect you too but if you aren't genuinely familiar with a boxer please refrain from just dismissing them. There aren't many divisions with the depth and quality of prospects that CW has. The first 6 guys are Championship material IMO the bottom 6 not quite or their quality is still a little too unknown with Gassiev, Glowacki and Dorticos.

Wlod Lebedev Huck are solid very tough Champions, YPH skilled but flawed and vulnerable comparable to maybe Stevenson/Quillin but more skilled than Quillin for sure and the USS win is better than Adonis's over Dawson, Cloud or Fonfara even though i do think Ross beat YPH.

    Marco Huck doing his thing.

Some people will hate and call him Chris John pt. II (which would be too flattering for Huck). But the bottom line is that he has been a titlist for a long time and has paid his dues facing some top competition at least (USS, Povetkin, Afolabi X3, Lebedev).

Huck always seems to get unlucky that his seemingly overmatched opponents (Arslan, Larghetti, Nakash) honestly do seem to show up always having one of their best career performances and when those guys have success it never really seems to me that Huck is being dramatically further exposed for deficiencies but rather that Huck's fighting style allow a spirited effort to be rewarded.

I largely disagree with this whole sentiment.

I do agree that the titlists at Cruiserweight are very solid with interesting and pretty respectable resumes each to accompany being highly exciting.

I also disagree that YPH over Cunningham is better than Adonis over Dawson. The first YPH vs. Cunningham fight was highly debatable and the second one was still pretty close. The fact that YPH is the RING lineal champ is a joke (one of my least favorite tales of the RING championship policy changes which were implemented later that year; the signs to come were when they went way out of their way to award YPH vs. Cunningham I for the undeserved vacant lineage bypassing the well established Huck).

    - I agree him being RING is a disgrace

    - 1st fight was close with USS coming on but YPH being up on the cards at the time of the stoppage was fair, stoppage questionable but not horrible and nice to see imo since Ross got screwed worse against USS who refused to rematch him.

    - 2nd win was clear cut and far better the 1 punching a weight drained guy whose punch resistance caused him to get KO'd in camp then put down multiple times by a light punching guy like Ward in the division below him.
The USS YPH beat >>>>Dawson or Cloud Adonis beat.

    It is certainly debatable.

I'm a big fan of Diablo and Huck and I do think Cruiserweight has some things to offer. Didn't mean to make it sound like I didn't appreciate the division in my other post, but I do think it is closer to "weak" than it is particularly "appealing" for several reasons. It's better than 105 and 115, arguably HW too, so it's not the worst division at the moment.

Yeah, I just never like to heavily favor a much less battle tested guy out of respect for the guy who's paid his dues as a pro but like you say, Usyk is amazing. He's so put together so early I'm just watching these bigger cruiserweight fights lately and thinking with each one of them 'Bet Usyk would be able to handle him today, bet Usyk would be able to handle him today.'
