Round 1

Harth is jabbing up at the much taller Gassiev, not taking a backward step. Harth moves in, tosses his up-jab and begins to walk a beat laterally side to side in front of Gassiev. Not much coming from the Russian giant, who keeps his defenses up. Flurry just before the bell from Gassiev, reaching down with surprising hand speed and forcing a startled Harth to leap away.

Round 2

Gassiev is backing into a corner, turning his gloves out to catch Harth's gnat-like jabs. Harth is pressing the advantage but quickly scampering out, unsure what to do with his large quarry once he corners him. Gassiev uses deflecting backhanded swats of his left forearm to clear the corner and feints to back Harth up. Jabs reaching down by Gassiev just singing the chest hairs of Harth, no solid contact. Harth dances in and out doubling and tripling up his inclined jab.

10-9 Harth, Gassiev just not doing much.

20-18 Harth

 

Round 3

Gassiev is covering up as Harth jumps in and slaps overhand combos up toward his face. Quadruple jab by Harth venturing inside, cautiously, scuffing his feet as Gassiev shuffles backward and leaves his guard up to intercept. BOOM! Huge left hook on the body from nowhere by Gassiev. Harth reels and is hit with another before he can recover, Gassiev leaping across the ring at him. More left hooks by the body, more controlled now by Gassiev as he bears down on Harth. Gassiev is pushing jabs out from his throat to Harth's frontal lobe, measuring distance with them. Glove tape for Gassiev loose. Time in. Gassiev is jabbing into the air above Harth's head and then knocking Harth's jab down when he sees it. Harth waves his jab defensively in rolling motions while running.

29-28 Harth

 

Round 4

Gassiev is now slipping Harth's jabs, taking very slow dips to either side with his upper body. 1-2 into the guard and HEFTY left hook on the body from Harth, showing a bit of spite. Harth moves in, doubling a jab on the forearms and chopping hard up top with a right before stepping away. Gassiev is covering up and dipping to either side, waiting his turn. 1-2 by Gassiev, ducked. Harth is bending forward and putting up blind jabs. Gassiev slams his right arm down across the back of Harth's neck. Harth pulls away, still bent over, and Gassiev chops him down onto the canvas. Harth is up and hooking but Gassiev lands jabs and more chopping rights (some clean and some rabbit punches) and Harth is doubled over defenseless, waved off.

They did soften him up.

 

He totally just hustled Leon Harth, like a pool shark.

In the first two rounds Gassiev looked a useless oaf.
