Big left hook by Gerber, setting the tone. Harris backs up and jabs. Hard jab to the guard, right hand to the body by Gerber. Harris is jabbing nicely on the back foot, preserving range and making Gerber follow, with some consistency to his footwork while avoiding the ropes. Gerber tries another big left hook but only blows wind at Harris. Gerber ducks and feigns a right to the body. Harris circles left and jabs Gerber in the face, but gets clipped with a left hook pulling back. Clinch. Leaping jab by Gerber, blocked.

Harris' jab won that one. Gerber didn't do much at all.

 

Round 2

Gerber follows Harris around the ring, plodding and loading up on right hands. Gerber tries to duck inside with his palms turned out to catch oncoming jabs. Harris is able to sew through Gerber's droops with his jab and keep him out. Gerber walks into several more jabs, trying to get his gloves up to block but easily found by Harris staring down his nose from long range. High jabs by Gerber, and a hard bashing right to the guard that causes Harris to duck over and almost lose his balance while blocking. Harris backs up with a shoulder roll, jabbing up into Gerber's face. Left hook by Gerber jumping in. Jabs through the gloves by Harris. High jab by Gerber
