Huck should have won against Povetkin but he lost against Lebedev so I guess it's all fair in the end.

Afolabi says it was a flip of the rematch. Last time Afolabi took the early rounds and Huck the late, this time it was the opposite. He says 114-114 made sense. He says the wide scores seem wrong (but not the result).

He gives it up to Huck, says he respects him as champion.

He says Huck executed his game plan better. He says he doesn't have any excuses.

    Nice stuff.

Yes, because scoring is everything but subjective, and anybody seeing a fight differently has to be mentally deficient...
Your scorecard was a joke, and most iqs from 50 to 150 would tell you so.

Don't even bother answering back, i won't read it.

I noticed that Povetkin comment. Huck probably thought '**** this I'm the victim of shady scoring at Heavyweight' :yep

Huck was fighting in spurts. Afolabi's body work carried the day in my view.

I thought Huck lost the last 4 rounds. One right hand in the 12th does not win you the round. Huck never hurt afolabi

Lebedev, Arslan, Afolabi II - Huck has enjoyed his share of luck, but two wrongs don't make a right. In the karmic sense you can say what goes around comes around, but viewed on its own right Povetkin vs. Huck was a bad decision. Huck earned it...made all the more impressive by the fact that he's a so-so cruiserweight belt holder (not an ATG champion by any means) and he moved up to push the #3 heavyweight to the brink and arguably beat him.

In fairness he probably lost the 1st 2 fights against Ola and he certainly lost against Aslan.

going back a bit to Sęk-Woge

Sęk fought since the 8th round with a broken left hand, and the cut under his eye will require stitches

    now, Huck and Afolabi

Huck won this, there were many close rounds, and it was hard to score with both guys swinging like a pair of drunks, but i thought Huck took it 116-112, Ola looked really badly prepared, he was puffing after the 5th round

Not taking anything away from Huck in that fight but Povetkin gassed like a mofo in 3 rounds. His cardio hasn't impressed me lately but that was horrible.

    115-113 Huck.

    Stats:

    Povetkin 172 of 561, 31%

    Huck 165 of 468, 35%

About the same # of punches, Huck at a higher percentage and obviously the harder shots.

I scored the fight for Huck, 8-4 rounds, 116-112 points, giving Afolabi the 5th, 9th, 10th, and 11th rounds. Strange how opposite this was to their last fight, not only that last time Afolabi started strong and Huck rallied, but also this time was more technical, and not the all-out brawl of the last fight. Huck looked fresher tonight than in his last few fights, but still he won 2 or 3 rounds only by rallying late with his heavier, more effective punches. I guess Huck's next fight will be a rematch with Arslan, who was Huck's mandatory in their first fight and still is ranked #1 by the WBO. Afolabi I think would be a great match for any other cruiserweight, and certainly deserves more money fights for title shots.

Povetkin-Huck was not really a clear robbery. It was the ref were I had big problems with. Povetkin always ducking so law that it was impossible to hit him clean. And he got not even a point deduction.

sorry but the was at least 3 To 4 swing rounds i gave it 116-112 povetkin. so you give one of those rounds to povetkin so it is a draw so you can not say HUCK CLEARLY one.
