Sarabia makes a heads-up play, swinging his left arm in a faux hook to deflect the blow so it caroms off his chest instead of his chin as intended. Lots of clinching by Sarabia. Zeuge has adopted an American shoulder roll stance now, taking pot shot jabs while circling Sarabia. Clinch. Zeuge violently shakes free, even using a headbutt to discourage Sarabia. Zeuge getting rough on the inside, fighting dirt with dirt.

Yeah, it wasn't great, very one-sided, and Zeuge showed limitations in his current stamina, creativity, and finishing instincts - but he did a lot of nice work considering the negative opponent. Not a bad little showcase.

 

Your whistle must be wet by now, eh? For me it's only 3 in the afternoon, but...nobody's around to frown (wee lad's been taken up north visiting his great-aunt in the mountains) and I'm bloody well grown-up, so... :think

I think by 2014 young Zeuge could be ready to beat some of his countrymen like Britsch and Weber to become the #1 homegrown domestic product at 168. (obviously still well short of Stieglitz & Abraham at world level, and maybe Sartison too half a tier down from them)
