Britsch isn't bad, he just doesn't work enough. When he works, it's good stuff.. but he wants to work 4 times a round right now.

Lyell is the aggressor and busier but I can't see either round for him based on quality of clean effective shots. (not that Britsch has had many, but Lyell's had almost none)

Britsch is solid. Just isn't throwing enough.

Billy Lyell reminds me of one one of those characters on Bugs Bunny. He's like one of those short little dudes kicking and punching yelling "Lemmie at 'em! Lemmie at 'em!"

    Round 3

Lyell flurries out with high-spearing jabs and rights coming forward. Britsch just backs up at ease, unrolling his jab a bit but mostly defending with foot work and pick-offs. Lyell walks through a jab and loads up a hard right hand, hitting guard. BIG hooks all of a sudden by Britsch, raining in from either side and forcing Lyell to flinch with his eyes shut and reach out to hold. Britsch now dances around and pops the left hook. Lyell gets in close and roughs Britsch up, slapping him in the face after the ref called for a break. Lyell gets lectured. Britsch backs up and jabs. Right to the body by Britsch. Double jab to the face by Britsch. Right to the body by Lyell. They punch together and miss as Britsch suddenly takes a sideways step out of their circling pattern. Lyell loads up a big right and grazes. Clinch. Flurry to the gloves by Britsch. Another. Big right hand by Britsch.

    30-27 Britsch

29-28 Lyell. Without a doubt a Britsch round.

Lyell's people are telling him he's not getting hurt at all, and saying to just walk through 'em.

    Round 4

Wild overhand right by Lyell, easily sidestepped by Britsch. Poking jabs and rights by Britsch while circling. Lyell pressures and tries to land combos of left hooks and right hands up top. Now Lyell tries for body shots, reaching down to bat the flanks of Britsch. Lyell lands a good right to the body. Britsch circles left and tries to drop his own pair of body shots but lands with his forearm instead of glove. Clinch. Good right hand by Lyell, then tucking behind his guard before Britsch can counter. Good left hook by Lyell. Britsch is just moving away, not jabbing much. Lyell keeps landing rights to the body, and then working partially blocked left hooks up top when he gets Britsch circling off the ropes. Hard stuff thrown by Lyell coming forward. Britsch flurries and catches Lyell on the chin but the plucky American taps himself on the jaw with his glove and nods enthusiastically.

    10-9 Lyell

    39-37 Britsch

He's going with the Spicoli look, the Sean Penn from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
