Double jab while circling out wide by Britsch. Lyell throws a hard left hook right hand combo. Britsch backs up. Long 1-2 through the gloves by Lyell. Right, left, right combo by Lyell smashing Britsch's own gloves against his face. Right hand left hook by Lyell, eating a soft 1-2 on the way in. Body shots by Lyell. Left hook to the body by Britsch. Sweeping hook by Lyell. Thudding right to the body by Lyell. Britsch backs up and jabs. Lyell blocks a 1-2 and throws a hard flurry. Britsch is nearly backed to the ropes and dances a few steps in either direction. Body shot by Britsch. Clubbing right by Lyell to the head.

    the 6th was the first round I felt Britsch clearly won...he'll have a whitewash on the cards though.

    This Ulli Wegner/German style of covering up for the whole round and throwing 20 punches is horrible. It is horrible technique and it is horrible to watch. The only way you can pull it off is if you have power, like Arthur Abraham. If you don't have power it is useless.

    Lyell comes forward winging body shots, but leaving his face open for jabs. Britsch now lands a 1-2 to the face as Lyell remains open while leaning forward and fishing for body shots. Lyell holds his left up as a blinder and throws a right to the body. Britsch tries to flurry with him to get some space backing up, a short hook and right hand. Lyell misses a right hand and gets popped in the face with a jab. Overhand right by Britsch, bypassing Lyell's gloves and crashing behind them from above. Lyell misses a 1-2 giving chase. Lyell has a right blocked. Britsch lands a triple hook, body head body. Lyell has a sloppy right go wide over Britsch's shoulder. Body shots by Lyell. They trade at close range.

    I have Lyell winning this fight fairly convincingly, its too bad the judges won't. Britsch is throwing nothing, just when he does he yells like a *****, the crowd gets excited but Lyell is blocking well.

    I've been saying for a couple of years now (from whenever my first glimpse of Britsch was) that he needs to ditch the whole team - Sauerland, Wegner etc. Fresh start in the States, and he could be a playa. :hat
