Walker's head is snapped back by a jab. Clumsy attack from Walker, slapping over the top with clubbing lefts and rights that slide along the back of a ducking and scampering Pulev. Walker tries a jab to the chest but Pulev is a step too quick. Slow overhand right by Walker doesn't reach. BIG uppercut by Pulev as they lean in together, and then a double left hook that turns Walker into a teeter. BIG RIGHT HAND BY WALKER!!! PULEV DID A CHICKEN DANCE!!! ANOTHER BIG RIGHT HAND!! Pulev recovers and ties up. Walker triples his jab out before him like a bayonet while trotting forward, trying to set up another right hand as he rushes Pulev to the ropes. BIG left hook to the body by Walker, really knocking the wind out of Pulev's sails. Walker is loading huge power on every shot. MASSIVE overhand right just misses. Pulev is dancing away and trying to survive. Walker wanders STRAIGHT into a flush counter right lead from Pulev!!! Nice 1-2 by Pulev, flush again!

WOW! This is a heavyweight slugfest!! Better than any HW world title bout in years.

As being vulnerable to being a little hurt by a huge shot from a giant puncher.


...and recovering.

All we've learned is that he's human, and that he seems to have a big heart to have come back slugging himself right up to the bell.

 

Round 4

Walker is trying to slam down with right hands on his way in, but is falling in with his head a clear target for short slicing whacks. Pulev is catching him coming in with his own short rainbow overhand rights. Walker's mouthpiece is out, and the ref threatens to take a point next time - apparently thinking it was deliberate. Walker is reaching for the body. Walker slips and is up on one leg, hopping while Pulev quickly tries to take advantage and knock him down before he can regain his balance. Pulev puts a jab in from outside, a little sloppy himself now and not finding Walker's face. Now Pulev puts a right hand behind the jab and drives Walker back a few paces. Walker swings a wild left hook that claps around Pulev's side and forces a clinch.
