Pulev lands a good jab, halting a charge from Walker by planting it on his chin. Walker has his hands down and is glaring at Pulev until his trainer screams to get them up. Walker really doesn't want to lift his arms up past the top of his trunks. It's like he's carrying steel girders. Pulev is dancing around jabbing and getting Walker in a headlock when charged. Walker dives in face-first on Pulev and slaps at his guard with an ineffective clubbing overhand right. Walker reaches out with some body shots but Pulev glides away. They move together nearly into a clinch but Walker at the last second throws a big left hook. Pulev caught it flush on the chin! Walker's gum shield came out. The action is interrupted. Accidental headbutt is ruled. Not clear if there's a cut. Walker doubles a jab, giving chase. Pulev is pushed to the ropes and then ducks off of them to clinch. The doctor is brought in to look at the cut - it's on Pulev. It may have been from that big left hook by Walker earlier. It could be a TKO on the cut for Walker. They resume action and Walker is reinvigorated, throwing high hooks. Clinch. Walker spanks the body with his right. Hard hooks by Walker, just barely evaded. Pulev spoils.

Round 8

Walker is throwing high power shots. Pulev is ducking in and clinching. Walker is connecting with the short right up close now, further cauliflowering and reddening Pulev's nose. Pulev is initiating all the clinches and otherwise running away. Walker is doubling his jab from outside and not catching anything but is pressuring constantly. Clubbing right to the back of the neck by Walker as Pulev drops out of the way. Pulev keeps ducking and grabbing as Walker keeps up the aggression. Walker is caught off balance by a big Pulev right hand. Now Walker has to hold. Pulev stands in front of him and waves his left around, looking to land a jab. Walker moves in and ties up. Walker has a right hand blocked. Walker is gassed. Pulev lands a left hook!
