I must admit I hadn't even noticed him before the Ortiz fight.

And then I see him take Ortiz's best punches, and then destroy him.

Watched the Cayo fight the other day. Cayo was an undefeated fighter and has some nice skills. By the 5th round Maidana was clearly toying with him, and in the 6th he got him out of there in a little over a minute with one punch, after making him look so exhausted like he had just boxed a 15-rounder.

The guy has a Valero-like KO ratio, and can take anything you throw at him and come back with something even bigger. Even in the one fight he lost vs Kotelnik (has anyone watched that btw?) he reportedly threw about 1.200 punches. I have to say, he made me a fan.

Bradley is in there for a long night. Or will it be a short one?

    Can't wait for that fight.

I think it's going to be Bradley's worst nightmare.

    This is definitely a possibility.

Bradley is an excellent fighter. Maidana is a monster. We have ourselves a fight.

Big fan of the guy. Maidana is a mean mofo. He has pretty quick hands as well. The guy is a force at 140. Bradley is the goods and top guy at 140 but he tends to brawl more than he should. I like Bradley a lot but i'll be rooting for Maidana.

He needs to work on hand speed and defensive elusiveness. The Cayo fight showed he gets hit a lot and had some problems with him early. Marcos is lucky that Cayo was ground down pretty quick. Bradley will be a serious threat because of his speed and quickness but mainly his durability. This will be very interesting.

Maidana, like most crude punchers, is being overated. Fun guy to watch, but he doens't have the skills to hang with the best at 140. Bradley by wide UD unless someone can convince me otherwise... and Alexander knocks him out.

Maidana has good power and is exciting to watch, but I expect Bradley to fully expose how limited he is as a fighter.

The guy's a bum. He's just another overrated hypejob who will be embarrassed when he runs into a boxer like Peterson, Alexander or Bradly. He was being outboxed thoroughly by that kid in his last fight until the kid let his guard down and got caught by Madina who has caveman skills.
