hugely over rated fighter... Kotelnik beat him, Ortiz should have beaten him easily... trade with him and you will lose, any decent fighter who stays disciplined will pick him off.

Kotelnik wants him, Maidana fears Kotelnik.

Kotelnik has shown the way in beating Maidana, same way Ortiz should have beat him... sit back pick him apart, dont take risks and expect to take a few big shots... but Maidana has neither the technical skills nor the chin to beat a top level fighter like Bradley.

That's true, Ortiz definitely would have beat him, if he had a brain.

Sure, what was the point in trading with the guy when he's looking to take your head off... sit back and jab. Relax... but Ortiz was trying to make a name for himself and got beat in the process.

Yeah, I saw it. Very good action fight. Personally, I had Maidana winning it 115-113.

The great Marcos Maidana couldntbeat Kotelnik. He's a good fighter but will be easily outboxed by the likes of Khan and Bradley. He was on the verge of being stopped by Ortiz early in the fight too, if Ortiz had kept cool and avoided a brawl he'd have won that one too.

:lol: yeah right, thats probably the reason why khan shamelessly ducks him.

Title fight with Kotelnik - who beat Maidana. Mandatory against tomato can. 2nd defense against Maliagnaggi, certainly a bigger name and arguably a better fighter tha Maidana. When did taking one voluntary fight, against a good boxer who has been in with top guys, amount to ducking anyone?

After a few hard shots to the back of the head Ortiz no longer had a brain. I hope Bradley knocks him out. Maybe people will forget about DeLeon Jr. then. The name of this thread should have been Marcos " The Medula Mangler " Maidana. I would rather just watch the KO punch from Maidana. To watch one of his entire fights just erks me because he is so sloppy. Somebody teach him some technique so I can atleast bare watching his fights.

I see Khan beating him quite comfortably that is if Khan can avoid one of his wheelbarrow punches, which I think he will. If he doesn't, then it's lights out ofcourse. I don't even like Khan that much, he's incredibly arrogant for someone who hasn't acheived a great deal yet (Kotelnik was a weak champion imo).

    Really Antwuan?

Weird, I see people in here saying "Maidana fears Kotelnik", and stuff like that.

I wouldn't argue with a draw, or a close win for Kotelnik...but anyone who suggests Kotelnik dominated or clearly beat Maidana either hasn't seen the fight or is full of ****.

I've seen Kotelnik in against Abdullaev, Witter, and Khan...none of those cats came close to hurting him. Maidana gave him a serious body attack, had his face busted up by the middle rounds, and nearly took him out in the 9th.

But like I said, it was a very good action fight. Shoot me a PM if you'd like to see it.
