Doesn't he have to fight anyone and prove anything after years of being gone. He will not be the same.

Him vs Pac makes sense for both guys I think and would make for a fun fight for the fans.

Would love to see him come back in shape and kill Khan.

Khan beat him the first time around, despite that wobbly 10th round.

The last thing Maidana needs is to get blitzed in 60 seconds by a fast starter like Khan. He needs to face a come forward slugger who he can go toe-to-toe with and overwhelm. The last thing thing he needs is to face a jab and move boxer.

That was at 140lbs when maidana was very green and one dimensional.

The 147lb version that bulldozed through Broner, would have put Khan in a coma.

If he came back now, he would be a seriously shot fighter. When you balloon up like that and haven't thrown a serious punch in almost 5 years, your body will wave the white flag well before the referee will.

    I don't disagree.

But don't act like prime Maidana trained under Robert Garcia, wouldn't have made dog meat out of Amir Khan.

Possibly, but all these hypotheticals are just conjecture from boxing fans.

Khan has rarely looked 'world class'. He's always been a solid B level fighter for me.

He ran out of that Floyd money already? Just go away. Nobody cares.

Marcos Maidana, it seems, is trying to eat his way up to being the same weight as Lucas Browne.

If Maidana wants to fight Pacquiao, can he even get down to 147 safely in order to make it happen?
