His boxing ability has now become overrated. Hes pritty poor skillwise

 

All the OP said was that Maidana is underrated, not a world class elite boxer lol. Maidana wasn't the best option at 147, but he wasn't the worst either. He proved everyone wrong in the first fight.

He fits in well with the rest of the top 10 contenders. Nothing too special though. Defeated soundly by Alexander and had wars with limited/shot fighters such as Oritiz, Lopez, and Morales. He couldn't put Broner away despite hurting him from the opening bell and somehow Khan's chin withstood his onslaught, all in all I think he's a tad overrated.

 

He's B level at best.
