Marcos Maidana got ripped off with his purse?

    Marcos Maidana got ripped off with the amount for his purse, $1.5 million to Floyds $32 million. Amir Khan got $1.5 million to fight Collazo. Even Broner got $1.25 million to fight Molina, who Broner admitted was just like a sparring match. Marcos should ask for $3-4 million for the rematch or just find someone else to fight. If Floyd doesn't want to pay Maidana decent money, Marcos should just rematch Broner.

    That was his biggest purse, Maidana wasn't a big enough name to get paid more up front. If you fill seats you'll get paid more, plain and simple.

    I thought most of you claimed in the past to have zero interest in how much money any boxer makes... Why start caring now?

    Obviously, it is a business. If Ortiz made a career high 2.5 M fighting Mayweather, Maidana made a career high 1.5 M+ fighting Mayweather, and the Ortiz fight ended up selling 30% more than the Maidana fight, then shouldn't you guys all be claiming that Ortiz got ripped off worse than Maidana?

    Who cares. Career high payday. They signed the contract.
