Dayum can't pick a winner on this one. Robert's balance has always been alittle questionable to me and if Maidana the one we know is back I can see multiple knockdowns happening. But Guerrero is as tough as Maidana and even though not spectacular in any area, he is heavy handed and his boxing is the type that wears opponents down. There will be no losers in this fight because both know how to bring it.

Hope Maidana destroys Guerrero so he can go back to 135 to fight Marquez and Rios and Golden Boy can STFU hyping him as a possible Mayweather

The only way is up for Robert Guerrero at age 28 and after the decision win over Katsidis and Marcos Maidana has no substancial reason to go down in weight either. So Robert possibly tries to get a crack at the major titles in a showdown with either Khan or Bradley if he wins the interim WBA belt and Marcos Maidana will quite naturally look for the rematch with Khan if he wins the interim title. However, you never know these days where catch weight fights appear on the horizon and famous characters out of the welterweight division look for tune-ups and partners to dance when they run out of name opponents at 147 pounds... Like Ortiz, Maidana may very well look forward for a shot at a major welterweight title and a very good payday if he comes out with a solid win against Guerrero.

I think maidana should stick to 140 regardless of the outcome, braldey and khan will move to 147 next year I think so there will become belts available and he can become a good champ there, we could have maidana vs rios next year for example that would be fun.

Maidana is being given opportunities which many fighters never get. If he keeps losing, he is going to have to be reevaluated as being a little overrated. Certainly his power is a little overrated.

This. I think Maidana will grind him down.
