Sebastian Contursi, Maidana's adviser, commented to ESPN.com, "As we were told that no dates were open for Maidana within the next few weeks we decided to go back to Argentina and have a fight here for Marcos to stay busy. That's why we are making arrangements to hold it on Sept. 16." The fight will take place in Buenos Aires in the neighborhood of Villa Ballester, where Maidana has lived since he was 16. No opponent is set yet, but Contursi said he is working with Golden Boy to secure one. I hope we get the fight televised over here. Im interesting in seeing Maidana has improved his skills. I feel somewhat sorry for whatever chump decides to take him on.
