    I decided to take a quick glimpse at this video and was shocked at how much improved Maidana is compared to where he was a few years ago. Him getting with Robert Garcia was a great move for him.

    Much better technique and balance.

    agree Garcia and Maidana is an amazing combination. I would love to see a Khan Maidana rematch at 147. Maidana has the entire package. I want to see him main event not just undercard again. One of my favorite fighters, a humble warrior, great chin great power. Took a hard popping liver shot from Khan in round 2 and went on for 10 more rounds

    hoping Lopez can get the W, but Maidana has looked much better since training with Robert..
    gonna be a good fight either way..

    What i noticed right away is hes telegraphing the jab pretty bad, stepping in and giving it away at the shoulder. Im glad hes jabbing more with authority but it may be his footwork causing the telegraphing

    Yeah its definitely his footwork. Hes hopping a bit too much because of it.

    Its possible Maidana scores a tko due to Lopez covering up with no response at times but if theres a good ref that shouldnt happen. I expect his reach and hand/foot speed to be the factor in this fight. Lopez will look to get off first and i believe he will hurt Maidana. I thought Maidana was nearly done in the Karass fight. Lopez will definitely take this one.

    That video doesn't really show anything.

    But yes, he showed a lot of improvements in the Karass fight. He's on the decline physically, but Garcia seems to countering that by improving his skills.

    Always liked Maidana. gritty warrior who loves to fight.

    The video proves an average technical ability. he isn't much to look at in training. they were most likely picking out bad habits but as far as natural style goes maidana seems one dimensional

    He is still a crude puncher and is not going to KO any of the better fighters he fights.
