Maidana isn't even a belt holder really. Lets be real.

 

Or that good of a puncher. Or any good at world level.

 

Khan is taller. Maidana has more bother and puts on more weight after the weigh in than Amir does IIRC.

Both sloppy jokers. I literally cringe when watching these two.

As for Maidana's power; fairly heavy handed, but slow, a poor finisher and usually ragged offensively.

 

I do with Khan, especially. Has there ever been a more contrived mechanical fighter?

 

I see desperate Khan haters holding on to one round and demanding a rematch.

Let's face the truth Khan beat Maidana convincingly. Maidana hurt Khan in Round 10 without a doubt but you don't win fights hurting your opponent for one round. Khan constantly outboxed him and came back in the last 2 rounds to show Cortez made the right decision not stopping the fight in Round 10.

Rematch would be very entertaining but would not be necessary if Khan wants to move forward.

However Peterson beating khan was shrouded in controversy. Controversial fights usually call for a rematch and if ever there was a fight that warranted a rematch it is this fight, as much as you hate Khan and wish Peterson would duck the Khan rematch, it is pretty much inevitable.

Too many people letting their Khan hatred cloud their judgement.

 

I love it when I hear people saying about Khan's high skill level. He is absolutely appalling when the fight isn't going 100% his way.
I literally laughed my head off watching Khan trying to defend against Maidana and Peterson.

Khan vs Peterson 2 is the fight i want to see, we might get maidana vs Khan 2 at some point (possibly at WW?) but who knows. Maidana vs anybody is a fun fight as far as I'm concerned.
