You can't count to five? Cause, damn, that's sad.

He's won some, lost some, faced good comp, nothing wrong with his career. Certainly he's a bit of an overachiever given his limited physical gifts.

...then again, why am I replying to an alt troll with a serious response?

He is so overrated got outboxed by Alexander didn't even win one round. Porter, Brook Shields, Malignaggi, and even Algeri run a train on him. So so slow. I wouldn't be surprised if Crawford decisioned him.

Crawford would not be able to withstand Chino for 36 mins .

Maidana is one of the best WWs in the world no question .

Floyd himself would probably never admit it due to his huge ego but he knows without a doubt that Chino is very likely the most difficult fighter he's ever been in the ring with .

Floyd never anticipated Maidana to be such a solid threat to him , he pretty much thought he was going to get the same result that Alexander did .

He was proven wrong when Chino gave him one of the closest fights of his career .

the only reason the rematch happen is because Floyd knows Chino had his way with him and wanted to redeem himself .

Marcos is indeed an elite fighter .

He jetted up to a top 5 ranking at 140 at one point and won a (bogus) vacant WBA title there over Petrov (which the victory over has aged quite well).

He jetted up to a top 5 ranking at 147 at one point and won a WBA title there from Broner.

...wouldn't call that a "loser" by any stretch.

'Lost every time he stepped up' 'Lost to the best people he faced'

two of the most overused and overrated terms in boxing.

Marcos Maidana has also been in numerous fight of the year contenders, not a loser as others have already mentioned. In fact one of the most entertaining fighters since 2009. His fights against Kotelnik, Ortrees,Cayo, Khan, Morales,Karras, Lopez and Broner, even Floyd 1 are fights that have made him a fan favorite
