Marcos Maidana - The Most Improved Fighter in Recent Times

You got to remember who he was fighting to, not to hard to out slick karas.

 

He looked brilliant, even though I had him slightly losing up until the stoppage. He also looked a bit gassed after enjoying a good start. He couldn't deal with the body assault. That knockdown saved his ass, in my opinion.

****....Marco showed new dimensions but don't get it twisted....he was losing that fight before getting the Knock down....he just showed how dangerous he was with that power and that he has an iron will. Dude was absolutely spent but somehow managed to find his Target and punch through it....that KD gave him a 2nd wind that he sorely needed.

 

I was really impressed with the new training....

everyone goes to their natural fighting instincts when things get desperate....
unfortunately some are dirtier than others....

i noticed the jab right away, was jabbing nicely!!

 

He was basically even with JSK when he scored the knockout. Changed? Sure. But JSK isn't that great. If he was that improved, he would have dominated.

 

he was getting sloppy and lost his cool. But i saw improvements..what a ****ing fight, fight of the night and potential fight of the year!!

 

Maidana entertains yet again, he is not the best but he is one of my favorites.

Maidana could beat Paulie M if they fought for the WBA title, there's a chance Paulie outboxes Chino but he could also get stooped by maidana perhaps late in the fight.

Did Paulie mention anything about a future fight with Chino?.

 

Lucas M v Maidana would be the event! I favour Lucas.

FFS. He did exactly what a fighter like Maidana is supposed to do against a fighter like Karass.

 

Yep you would have to favor Lucas on current form but Maidana would land shots on Lucas as he isn't the hardest to hit so you never know Ha.

In saying that I've not seen any problems with Lucas taking shots but whatever would happen, it would be a war for as long as it lasts.

 

Karass is a PUNCHING BAG folks!

Maidana don't win tonight based on any improved skills.

He won simply because he's a higher calibre fighter than Karass, despite being smaller.
