They aren't avoiding him ;s. It's gone to purse bids for 18th Jan.
Plus, There's no way Khan would want to fight him if he didn't think he could win. Khan and Roach were even at the Ortiz v Maidana fight.
    I think Khan's got a plan :thumbsup

I think Maidana can catch Khan, and it's going to be uphill for Khan from there.

well yeah. that's why roach is gonna avoid him at all costs. he already said they'd vacate if khan had to fight him.

Well, his chin can be shattered at anytime. Doubt Khan will fight Maidana. Khan has the same conditioning coach as Pacquiao though........

Khan's chin is pretty pathetic which is a shame because he could have gone on to be a top class fighter with his other attributes.

If Maidana catches him clean then I can't see Khan taking it.

I don't think that Khan has a choice but to take this fight.

The only reason he's seen as an attractive option for Judah, Marquez and the like because he has the WBA belt. Without the belt he is bringing very little to the negotiating table.

If he vacates it's extremely unlikely that he's going to get a decent fight, so his best option is to take the fight and get the $$.

Ultimately, if he gets starched early, nothings changed - he's still a decent fighter with a very shaky chin. If he manages to last until the later rounds then at least he's proven to himself that he can last with a big banger and it can form part of his learning curve.

However, there is the chance that he can avoid Maidana all night and win a UD - if he does this it will do wonders for his confidence and then the entire 140 division is his oyster.

Khan's only logical option is to take the fight.

I think Khans resistance and chin is too underrated (Now).
Yes, he went down by Willie Limond (A non puncher) But on from that he faces Barrera [left hook catches him, no effect]. That punch itself would be harder than the one Limond hit, so obviously Khan's resistance improved. Then 5 pounds on, He faces Kotelnik who he took more punches than he needed to from him and even traded with him at times and wasn't even phased by the punches.

    :deal

Haters dont care about that ****, Khan at 140 is more at his natural weight. One thing you got to note, If Maidana lands clean at anyone at 140 you might go down, not just Khan.

Haters should own up and give respect to Khan for facing the biggest puncher at 140. Khan is showing more balls than some so called big stars out here at a much younger age.

Why wouldn't he? Only haters wouldn't give him respect.

Win or lose you HAVE TO respect the fact that he TOOK THE FIGHT, and didn't vacate. Why cant people like you look past that?

If he can't take a punch then it's not his fault.

There are people that are always going to hate him as a fighter but he has done the right thing and stepped up that's admirable
