I like this for Marcos, Fight in front of a pro Maidana crowd & get tuned-up for a 2013 run.

 

More than likely it will be Maidana vs Malignaggi since Guerrero will be fighting Floyd.

LOL two fights and he's only been fighting bums. He moved up in weight and got a new trainer after losing a one sided decision to Alexander at 147. You can't blame his management for testing the waters first. He looked great against Soto-Karass improved 10 fold and this is just to keep active which is smart, he's gonna knock some bum out in front of his home crowd to get ready for the new year. I'd prefer him to fight guerro i'm tired of malignaggi he has no punching power and is an okay boxer. Gotta give him credit in the cotto fight though fought with a broken jaw

 

maidana is a beast, i still reckon him vs lucas would be crazy, if lucas ever gets to 147 that is, though i would worry for maidana getting those mean bodyshots from lucas. maidana seems vulnerable to them after watching the karass fight. And lucas is much better to the body than karass

 

I doubt Malignaggi would fight him. And I can't really blame him (call it "chicken" call it "coward" all you want).

If Mayweather doesn't fight Guerrero, then Guerrero vs. Maidana would still be a great watch.

I could see Golden Boy making Maidana vs. Thurman in early 2013. I would love to watch that.

 

maidana isn't all that, he'll get fried by almost all the top 10 at 147
