Both guys have good durability but margarito is bigger and while maidana is a more cerebral fighter than he's given credit for, margarito is a bit more refined with his attack and his volume was consistently high. I'd have to favour margarito although I'd be rooting for maidana

Either way, Margarito mostly beat guys with durability issues like Six Heads, Cintron, or Cotto (to a lesser extent). Clottey was durable but fought like a statue.

Guys who were durable and crafty tended to get the win, like Santos, Pac, and Mosley. Maidana was durable and crafty and pretty damn during that stretch when he stopped Josestio, beat down Broner, and gave Mayweather two good fights.

Maidana was durable? Oh, you mean the same Maidana was bounced off the canvas several times by Ortiz and nearly KO'd in 1 by Khan?

He got off the floor to finish both those fights. Ortiz was very flawed but he could punch, and Maidana took the punches well in a very exciting fight.

He was not "nearly KO'd" by Khan, it was a body shot and he got off the floor to bring serious pain to Khan (who was a good body puncher).
