Would have been interesting, Maidana was an absolute monster but vulnerable himself. Similar sizes even though Rios started at 135; MM at 140 Rio's chin/body cracking was inevitable the human body can only sustain so much damage. Rips in his Prime was extremely durable. Maidana had some tough fights even vs JSK and Grandmaster Grandpa Morales. Maidana by Dec is my pick not ruling out Maidana stopping Rios in a war
Always. In fact I'm fairly confident that he could return to the ring and do the same without much trouble. Rios was never that good and he's completely spent now. Maidana went out at his peak and is living the good life now. Really good to see - Usually doesn't happen that way in boxing....
