I really feel bad for Corley. He's not even a journeyman anymore. Just someone to beat up.

WTF. People jump on Khan when Casamayor was mentioned as a stay-busy fight and when it comes to Maidana fighting a shot fighter people don't say ****ing ****.

Complete bull**** in these forums. There's one rule for everybody and one rule for Khan. Discusting.

yeah it's actually kinda funny, nobody is really taking on huge challenges at 140 and only khan gets lambasted for it

Yes and Alexander is fighting a guy Khan schooled, Bradley a non-title fight, Ortiz is probably fighting a can next. I rate Malignaggi higher than any of Bradley, Alexander or Maidana's most recent and upcoming opponents.

Maidana not having a relevant opponent isn't really his fault. He's been a victim of poor promoting. IMO Maidana would fight anyone in the division and crush them. Bradley, Khan, and Alexander all get KTFO against Maidana. Still GBP could've found someone better than Corley

Definitely, lets though he puts up a good enough fight to get another payday.

Corley will most likely be knocked out in his final big payday.

    - HOWEVER!!!! -

Maidana could get knocked down once or twice in the process, in a short but sweet little war.

Corley can still pop, especially as a counterpuncher with those who come straight forward, and Ortiz did deck Maidana before succumbing to El Chino's pressure and power.

I would love to say that Corley has a chance.. He is nice guy and his early career was exciting to watch.. Great wars against Judah, Cotto and Mayweather.. BUT NOW... Corley is over the hills and he has passed his prime. I think this is going to be just a easy warm up match for Maidana. Maidana is too strong and young for Corley who is getting older and slower.. This matchup reminds me little bit of Corley-Cotto.. But it's different thing now.. Corley is old and shot. Okay, he still might be a great test for young guys and I think he can still make some nice upset.. But Maidana is more than prospect with average skills.. He is toplevel fighter, one of the best fighters out there. He is too much for Corley and Maidana is going to break Corley down with his power.

    Maidana KO2
