Really. You're that confident, huh. Well Tszyu is one of my favorites, and I slightly favor him just on that. But I like Maidana's chances also. Could Tszyu take his power punches? Can he get up from knockdowns as I'm sure Maidana will be doing? The only time I've seen Tszyu knocked down multiple times in a fight was against Hurtado. They weren't powerful knockdowns, but he did get up each time, and eventually beat Hurtado. A Tszyu-Maidana fight would be awesome to say the least.
You know now that I think about it, Tszyu is the master of breaking an opponent down. Round by round he punishes you at the body and the head, and you slowly just stop fighting, and eventually get knocked out. Maidana just goes for knockouts, with not much strategy.
I agree and thats why more times than not Tszyu wins this but i would give Maidana a good punchers chance its not like Tszyu was some defensive master and with his style i can see Maidana landing a big one. Tszyu had a solid chin but not a great one Not only Hurtado hurt him and dropped but a faded Rafeal Ruelas also hurt him.
