Now suddenly I don't sound crazy anymore. LOL - Pacturd nation laughed when I said Marcos would give Manny a tough fight, and possibly even stops him.

Regardless of outcome, would be an exciting match up.

Edit - And I clicked the wrong bubble. My vote should be Maidana by KO.

You are judge as your last fight the Pac of Saturday night would be in trouble against Maidana just too physical for the small warrior.

I think Pacquiao's speed and volume can effect Maidana towards a possible UD in Pacquiao's favor.

    However having said that...

Maidana is a pretty heavy hitter and it would require more than just hand speed to beat him in a convincing manner.

It would also require Manny to have that power behind his punches like in his yester-year fights.

However after watching this past May 2nd main event between Pac and Floyd.......... I just don't know where Pac's power vanished to. Sure there were moments when Pac showed his quick volume hand speed... but Floyd just shook his head and smirked off Manny's punches.... kinda like when Brandon Rio's flicked his tongue out after being tagged by Manny's straight left I believe.

Knocking down a less experienced Algieri is one thing... but hurting and/or knocking down a guy like Maidana is something else.

And I feel like Maidana is not gonna be a Rio's style punching bag if he ever fights Pacquiao.

I would expect Maidana to take a lot of risks... eat Manny's punches and come in with his own wild looping punches both upstairs and downstairs..... all while pressuring Manny with in fighting tactics against the ropes.

Kinda like what Maidana did with Floyd I envision.

If you are gonna fight a guy like Maidana.. you need to SHOW HIM you have KO ability so he respects your punches... otherwise he will just keep walking through you without a care in the world and try to land his own on you.

Maidana by KO. Pac is too easy to hit and Maidana hits too hard.

Regardless of what fans, Roach, Pac, and Arum say, Pacquaio's killer instinct is gone and he's clearly not the same fighter he once was. Time to hang them up and focus on his other goals.

Yeah man.. Pac just seemed... kinda "nice" when he was in there with Floyd. He smiled at Floyd, gave him glove bumps and just appeared to be in a sparring match of some sort.

There were only brief moments when he went all out "Pacman" flurry with Floyd backed against the ropes. Had he sustained this for a portion of every round, he would probably have won more rounds than just 3 or so.

But for most of the fight, I felt Manny was holding back A LOT even when there were clear opportune moments for him to throw and effectively land some good shots.

He needed to be that Manny of the past and take risks when the time was right and shock Floyd with surprising quickness and power.

But he wasn't. This is not the same Manny we saw who fought Lebwaba, ODL, R. Hatton, Morales, MAB, Cotto, etc etc.

I say either Manny Pacquiao focuses without ANY outside distractions for his next and final career fight and give it his ALL....

or he should retire now if his heart is not in it anymore.

For without the will or hunger... a boxer's natural abilities and skills can only take him so far. Before all else a fighter needs that fire within him to push himself forward.

Hopefully Manny does have some of that fire left over and can give us 1 final hurrah!!! fight before he rides off into the sunset with his multi millions and sealed legacy as a boxing champion.
