WOw wouldnt this be a foty classic.... Maidana has the edge in power and Ward has the better chin.. Think Maidana might be the quicker fighter and great at making u fight his fight, however Ward had underrated skills. Who do you likes in this one? Seems pretty close matchup to me, im leaning towards Maidana but im not so sure:think Almost a pickem match.

Believe it or not might go the distance... I can see Maidana winning a decision and if its a ko might go with Ward.

Maidana is a legit title contender.

Ward is just a fringe contender with an exciting style.

I love Ward but cmon. Maidana by TKO or wide Decision.

No it wouldn't go the distance IMO, unless Ward got rid of him early with a body shot it would be a one sided beating, Maidana TKO within 6

Maidana goes down from Khans Bodypunch.
And i think Ward was one of the best Bodypuncher in the last 20 Years. Ward KO inside 8-10 Rounds.

Maidana is a great puncher but Ward was super tough i think he could hang in there.... Although i agree with BoomBoom Ward was for the most part a fringe contender but on his best night he could pull it out against more talented fighters (Gatti I,Alfonso Sanchez,Reggie Green).. Ward was very beatable by most top guys but also dangerous against just about anyone.

Yey i did too yesterday:lol: But im too knowledgeable too let a boxing movie sway my judgement.... Ward really was an awesome body puncher, and the scene with Sanchez was not overblown... Sanchez was heavily hyped( i was big on him at the time) and he really kick the **** out of Ward to this day that is one of the top sudden endings ive ever seen in a fight and ive been watching fights for quite a while.

TKO there's a difference . Ward didn't mind sucking up punishment but when you're in against one of the p4p hardest hitters that's unloading with bombs on you I doubt the ref would let it continue after a while.

Only by cut. This is a possible scenario with Ward. KO or TKO by punishment is pretty far-fetched...

:good:good Yey for as hard as Maidana punches , Ward was tough i seen him absorb some bombs by big punchers(Phillips,Sanchez,Gatti,Diaz,Judah) he had a great chin but did cut.
